Plastering/Smooth render finish/Felting
I'm planning to start plastering my garage in the spring. First, I'll prime it with red primer, then attach galvanized plaster mesh. Then I'll apply about 15 mm of Utstockningsbruk-B in two layers. There is something called "filta," and that's the challenge I'm going to take on. I know it can be difficult for an amateur, but I'm confident I can manage it. I'm in no rush, and it will take as long as it takes. I plan to start with the back of the garage first to get the hang of it.
I've seen some houses and walls nearby, and the plaster finish they've managed to achieve is absolutely amazing. And it's traditional plastering, nothing else. I saw them working on it, but I should have stopped and chatted a bit.
I've seen that Finja has filtningsbruk, but I can't find anything from Maxit.

Well, not really. But if you have the answer to that, please do tell. I admit I was a bit unclear. I'm mostly wondering what kind of mortar these guys used on the houses and walls that turned out so beautifully. I never talked to them, otherwise, I would have asked. Of course, they were incredibly skilled at achieving a fantastically fine and even surface, so it's obviously not just about the mortar, I get that. But I've been wondering: what kind of mortar could it have been? That's the question.
Best regards
