Hello, I am going to plaster about 100 square meters of brick indoors. There are some clay bricks, but mostly it's normal brick.

My question is if I can use Serpo 103 thin grounding mortar on all walls. Then plaster with Byggmax Plaster and Masonry Mortar C on the "regular brick." After that, use Serpo's Hydraulic Lime Mortar on the clay brick? Does this sound "sustainable" (Netting is of course used)?

Would it be better if I add lime to the C-Plaster? The walls are VERY uneven between the bricks, should I do it by hand? Or still try to put in strips to pull off?

I have about 100 square meters, so I would like as much feedback as possible. Maybe someone has a better method?

Best regards

How precise do you want to be? If you want an absolutely smooth surface, you should probably use battens and scrape against them. Rendering first or using primer mortar is probably not a bad idea, otherwise the joints may show.

If you're not aiming for an exactly smooth surface, I recommend Serpo 135 applied with a steel-trowel, it's the easy way for a beginner!
