Hello!
I really need help with what kind of plaster to use so that ettringite doesn't form.
The residence is from '53 and has plastered walls, under the plaster there is cement, brick, and blåbetong. I have channeled about 4 cm into these walls and need to fill them up. I have been asking at beijerbygg, XL bygg, and both recommended gypsum naturputs which I also bought. Once home, I read that cement and gypsum plaster form ettringite.. Is it the same for blåbetong? Does it work on brick? What should I use to fill these walls and then be able to paint them?
Thanks for the help!

Apologies in advance, but aren't you worrying a bit too much now? Are you going to mix with sulfate-containing water? And with such a small volume that you're going to use, I don't think there will be any problems.
Uh... No, I can never imagine that. I have polished quite a lot with plaster and talked to many craftsmen, builders, etc., and I have never heard anyone mention ettringite...
I only use water as a "base" on blåbetong/ytong, and it has worked well.
