Then it might be that they want to work with the 900mm plasterboard in the ceiling and the wide one on the wall depending on how the studs are spaced in terms of c/c. There's no difference for the wall itself, it's more about work environment aspects..J jamaica said:

I'm not worried as such since the carpenter has done his part & I'm going to finish it myself. So I was a bit unsure about them if there was a thought behind it, & there was. Thanks!
Generally, 900mm gypsum is used for studs at 300 c/c or 450 c/cJ jamaica said:
1200 mm gypsum for 600 c/c and it can also be used for 300 c/c the exterior wall you have with OSB you can use either, remember to offset the joints on OSB and gypsum so that both joints do not align with each other..
Ok, I get it! ThanksRejäl said:In general, the 900mm drywall is used for framing at 300 c/c or 450 c/c.
1200 mm drywall for 600 c/c and it can also be used for 300 c/c. For the exterior wall you have with OSB, you can use any of them. Remember to stagger the joints on the OSB and drywall so that both joints do not align with each other.
