Hi!
I am installing a stove in the basement and will plaster the wall behind the stove, about 1.20m wide.
What type of plaster is suitable and how thick, reinforcement mesh, etc.?

It is a concrete hollow block wall.
I have considered lime plaster as I find it nicer than regular mortar.

What is the wall built with?

Concrete block as mentioned😊

There wasn't much response to this thread, but now it's clear anyway. It was plaster with Weber mur and plaster mortar C.
First a round of slamming and then a layer of plaster (12mm) that was skimmed for some texture. No mesh. It will be a very light and nice plaster (plaster A & B are darker gray) that will remain untreated.
