Hello!
I am going to replace the windows in the bay window and will then need to replace some of the facade.
My house has a brick frame, but the bay window has brick only up to the windows, then it is clad with teak on a wooden frame. The teak will break when I remove the old windows, so I'm considering plastering that area instead.
What should I keep in mind? I don't think there's any air gap today. The teak was probably installed sometime in the late '60s.
Install the new windows
Install drywall
Mesh
Plaster
Air gap? I would preferably not want it to be much thicker than it is today.
