I'm thinking of sprucing up the stable walls.
They're some sort of leca, hollow, with various large holes in places.
In other words, they generally look messy.
How should I go about smoothing the walls? How to fill in the holes?
Since it's a stable, the final finish isn't maybe the most important; I just want it to be "hole-free".......

Search for puts/putsa in the forum. There's a lot of information.
If you're going to putsa on leca, fill in the holes beforehand with suitable mortar.
You mention that it's leca mixed with stone with large holes.. could it be concrete block?
Post a picture, and maybe more people will respond.. Has it been plastered before or are the walls "bare"?
