Yes, I'm still trying to plaster with the stucco plaster, it's marit.
I'm now trying to find some tools that will make it easier to work with. I've ordered a set of panel knives, which will be like small trowels. I also need small rasps and found them here http://www.bildhau.de/gipsraspel-9.html can't you find such things in Svedala, does anyone know? Regular files get clogged immediately, so they can't be used, yeah a couple of strokes and then you have to use the card for cleaning.

I bought one of these today Stanley gips rasp but it wasn't any good. I have an older version that is longer, it had a different type of blade that made the surface smoother. I also bought one at Biltema, it had the same kind of blade. My old Stanley rasp in plastic had much better blades. I've used my carving knives :o here I should be a bit embarrassed.. oh well, they can be sharpened again. I bought a new wire brush so now I'm using regular files. I'm looking for something flat to make the stucco on, hoping to make a sample piece shortly.

Here is a little update on my "plaster training" ;) Tools for gypsum work, including palette knives, spatulas, a metal scraper, and a rubber bowl with plaster.

1) I noticed that it's essential to wet thoroughly before continuing to plaster on something that has already set.
2) spatula for mixing
3) carving knife when the plaster has dried, you may need to adjust a bit.
4) steel trowel works well for smoothing out flat surfaces.
5) rasp
6) a bunch of palette knives were purchased from aliexpress. works excellently for spreading plaster.
7) a regular steel spreader that is sharpened at the front. works well for carving.
8) some knives that have teeth. works well for shaping both soft and hard plaster. Very expensive and poorly sharpened, very uneven. (you can regrind them)
9) Plaster tools from C.K they were quite the same size so one of the ones purchased from conrad would have sufficed.
10) I had the yellow and the red, and bought the 2 in metal. The red gives the flattest surface, the others are very similar. Red, yellow + silver are stanley and the other is biltema.
11) wire brush. used as a file card, purchased from biltema.
12) rubber bucket. good for mixing plaster in, easy to remove the plaster when it has set.

I have also bought Weber natural plaster believing it was just plaster, i.e., calcium sulfate: "manufactured from natural raw gypsum stone" it says. However, in the building material declaration I found now, it states that it contains 50-100% calcium sulfate (=plaster) 1-5% calcium hydroxide (=slaked lime) and 20-50% mineral fillers (=sand?).

Yes, I saw that it was marked confidential... It's very hard, and it comes off instead of being possible to sand. I think it's sand...

There is "pure" gypsum in 5 kg bags at Hornbach, called "gypsum putty": [link]
Unfortunately, we don't have Hornbach here in Uppsala yet, but they will probably come. I moved to Uppsala in 1998 and since then Jula, Class Ohlson, Bauhaus, Swedol, and K-rauta have found their way here. Yes, I think Biltema came around the same time, around the year 2000. When I arrived, I had to shop at Coop; they had a plumbing department and a tool department. Yes, I shopped a bit at ÖB too... There wasn't such a large selection then..:)

"Pure" gypsum... it contains 50-75% calcium sulfate (=gypsum) and 25-50% "limestone" which should mainly be calcium carbonate.

Excuse me and forgive... By "pure," I meant without sand as requested by the OP...
