I am going to install a cast iron stove in a room that I am currently renovating.
In the corner where it will be placed, there is the chimney which is currently roughly plastered and painted.
Can I fine plaster directly on it, or do I have to knock off the stuff since it's painted?
And lastly, what plastering material do you recommend? It should result in a finely plastered surface.
