Hi, option 2 is the best option for the air behind the panel; in option 1, you close the air gap with the nailing strip, which is not good.

Stumbled upon this old thread and can fill in that option 2 was chosen, with a sheet that goes up behind the fasdskiva and down a few centimeters in front of the foundation. The sheet is completely hidden by the facade and ensures that water running off the skiva is kept away from the sill.

Turned out really well in my opinion.
