Hello
I suspect there's a reason for placing pipes a bit away from the wall, but I wanted to ask anyway. Could anything happen if the pipe (district heating) is "flush" against the OSB board as in the picture? The plumber apparently didn't quite listen to me and I completely forgot to check after he was done since there was a board right there, so it is what it is now :( What I can do is cut out the board, but I'd be happy to avoid having to remove it again... as, stupidly, I forced it into place before asking you. So, what would you have done? I'm not planning to install another board to the right.
Copper pipe touching OSB board, running along a wall with a white bracket securing it.

There are really three reasons to have the pipes a bit away from the wall: 1. Aesthetic, 2. Easier to clean around the pipes, 3. If they are cold water pipes, condensation can form on them which can dampen the wall behind.

If none of these factors are relevant in this case, then it's OK. It might possibly cause popping sounds when the pipes expand due to temperature changes, but if you can live with that risk, go ahead.

Thank you :) The pipes will be in a closet so it's all good :)
