All boiler rooms are different and it's a bit like exposing yourself with the mess when you've tinkered with everything yourself or the previous owner has done it. Usually, there's a bit of piping crisscrossing and some electrical wiring that could be better. If there have been professionals there, then why not, but I don't think it helps anyone more than giving info about how mine is.
