Hello,
I'm planning to build a pergola on the deck, in a corner with the house as the attachment point on 2 sides and one post.

I'm thinking of building the frame in 45x195, and a middle beam in 45x170, with horizontal 28x70 as the "roof". The span will be 2.0m for 28x70, is that too much?

Yes, it's too much. Partly because snow can accumulate on it and break it, but then the boards are most likely to twist.

This is how I built our pergola; I then attached them to both the flower box between two of the pillars and attached reinforcement mesh as the roof and on one of the sides to let the flowers grow up.

I have attached three 70x45 that span between the sides to hold the roof of reinforcement mesh in place.
