I see that the question has been asked before on the forum, but it feels like the answers vary a bit.
I have polystyrene ceiling moldings that are no longer white but more yellow after having been up for a few years.
I've just painted the ceiling, and the difference became even more noticeable. What type of paint can I use to paint the polystyrene moldings? Preferably, I'd like to avoid buying extremely expensive paint.

/ Thanks for the tips!
Victor

Ordinary simple acrylic paint (latex paint) is excellent for painting on styrofoam.

And most ceiling paints are usually fully matte acrylic.

[link] - will this work, you think?
It should work just fine!

But it also depends on how the rest of the ceiling looks.
Can't you use the same paint as there?

Byxxmaxfärge is simply a basic latex paint. You usually need to apply one more coat than with "fine paint," but considering the difference in price per liter, it might be worth it.
I just painted some storage room walls with that paint.

Use the same color as the ceiling. It will work well. It will also look best if the ceiling and trim have the same color and finish.

Thank you all for the tips!
