Building a garage and won't have time to finish the outer cladding. I've installed exterior gypsum board, which I've been told should withstand a winter without being covered by cladding. Now my concern is that it doesn't look very nice with the gypsum walls. I'm considering rolling red paint over them. Does this sound sensible, or would it do more harm than good?

It sounds like money down the drain - it does no good except to give yourselves peace of mind....:=)

What you might consider is ensuring the paint you use does not dissolve the adhesive in the gypsum - it usually works fine but it doesn't hurt to check.

I have also noted that the green outdoor gypsum matches Alcro's Djurgårdsgröna color that I have on moldings etc.....
