Outdoor gate between house, lock on both outside and inside?

Hello!

We have an outdoor gate between two houses.

Does anyone know how to lock/unlock it from both the outside and the inside?

Right now, the gate flies back and forth with the wind. Maybe we should have a door closer?

But maybe it's better to have some type of door closer? Because with a lock, I think you have to try to hit the hole from the side you can't see the lock from, it seems like. No one in the family will deal with that slackers.

I'll try to find a door closer that keeps the doors in a "closed" position all the time. But that you can still push the door open with force.

What do you think? =)
