OSB or masonite?

Is it really cheaper with chipboard than OSB?
I was thinking of using OSB behind the drywall, but started to hesitate when I saw the price - 25kr/sqm plus VAT...
Or have I simply gotten a bad price?

for our bathroom, we chose to put OSB behind the drywall since OSB was cheaper than chipboard
although, we do most of our shopping at cheapy low-price construction since my wife works there ... and gets 10% off the prices

OSB cheaper than chipboard? I've checked all local hardware stores (jemfix, cheapy, byggmax etc) and in all of them OSB is more expensive than chipboard.

It might depend on what quality of chipboard you're buying?

Personally, I stick to OSB or plyfa.

I used OSB myself, but it was really foolishly frugal and resulted in a lot of splinters in my fingers The next (?) house will, of course, have Plyfa behind the drywall!

Chipboard should only be on/under the floor

I agree with the guy above!
Plyfa definitely the best! But OSB works well! (gloves are recommended)
