I was thinking about installing OSB on the ceiling.
I have a garage with a former flat roof that has been converted to a sloped roof where the old trusses with 600mm centers are still in place.
I plan to insulate between the trusses and create a ceiling underneath. The height is limited, and to save a few cm, I was considering the following.
I'm wondering if it's better to install sparse battens with 300mm centers or to put up OSB and then gypsum. Do you think there's a risk that OSB will sag with that center distance?

Why OSB and not just CC30 and plasterboard? Is it so that the insulation doesn't fall down and you don't want to use plastic? Place wind barrier against the rafters to keep the insulation in place.

No, no plastic. But planning to put wind barrier underneath, so it should work.
Just thought the lath was so thick, but maybe there's thinner than 28mm one can use?

I have a garage roof with 1200 between the rafters and 12 mm plywood + gypsum and it looked flat the last time I checked.

The prototype: Wow, with 1200 in cc even I would start to hesitate. How long has it been up then?
