I have a load-bearing interior wall with 95 mm studs.
On both sides, I'll have 15 mm construction plywood, followed by 15 mm paneling. The wall will therefore look as follows: 15+15+95+15+15 mm.
How do I best achieve sound insulation?
Should I fill the studs with:
• 45 mm insulation
• 45+45 mm insulation overlapped
• 45 mm insulation + drywall, 1 or 2 layers (I have leftovers)
Additionally, the wall is framed with sparse panels at the top. There will be an air gap between the rooms between the spars.
How do I best soundproof that part?
