I have vertical wood paneling in the family room in the new house.

Now I want to run some speaker cable behind the paneling.

Does anyone know if you can open up the paneling in the middle of a wall, or have other tips?

This is how it is mounted.

It is easy for them to crack... But if you loosen 4-5 at the same time, you can get them off whole.

I imagine it's difficult to loosen all when they are nailed to beams. Possibly it's easier to open up in the corners, remains to be seen...

Definitely looks nicer to have speakers without visible cables.
