Hello!
I was thinking of opening up a wall between two rooms so that we get a large room instead of 2 small rooms. I don't want to remove the wall completely, but rather have it like a rectangular arch between the rooms as in the picture.
Some craftsmen did something similar a few years ago in one of our other rooms. I'm wondering how to efficiently achieve flat and straight edges where the cut is made? I have a faint memory that the craftsmen who did this in our other room used some kind of plastic edge that they plastered in where the cut was made to make it look nice and straight.
Does anyone know what these "edges" are called? Or any other tips on how I should proceed to get this done in the best way?
