Hello

I'm finishing up a small project, a wardrobe under a staircase that was previously open.

I insulated the plasterboard walls and in a few places under the steps there were a few small gaps of 2-3 cm so there is an open (but not visible) passage into the glass wool.

Now that the construction is almost finished, it has started to bother me that maybe I should have sealed it so that the insulation is completely encapsulated behind plasterboard or studs.

Can glass wool release fibers if you don't touch it?

Maybe I should make another trip to the nearest hardware store and buy a can of foam sealant to fill the gaps just to avoid worrying about whether the environment is good for all the kids because they will definitely be playing there...

Answering my own question, if you're thinking about it = seal it!
