One or two garage doors

We are going to have a double garage, but cannot agree on whether to have one large or two standard garage doors.
What do you think, which is better, one or two?

My personal opinion: A very wide door is ugly! I imagine it's difficult to handle as well (easily becomes skewed, it's heavy, etc.). You might not want to show the neighbors what trash or treasures you have in one half of the garage, so it’s good to be able to keep one door closed.

But if, on the other hand, you're going to drive in three SmartCars side by side, it might be practical to avoid a middle wall section.

However, my husband wants one big full door, and many I've talked to feel the same way.

It is more expensive with 2 doors; I don't know how much the price difference is.

Does anyone have any price indicators?

I looked around a bit online for prices, since I have no idea.

I found, among other things, an overhead garage door in white aluminum.
Prices:
2440x2000 8,765:- - x2= 17,530:-
4880x2000 17,736:-
So it's actually cheaper with 2 doors in this case. I was a bit surprised, I thought it would be the other way around.

If there is a really wide door across the entire wall of the garage, the roof structure practically rests on the three remaining walls. This can cause problems with the roof becoming too heavy and sagging where the garage door is. If you have two doors, a supporting post stands in the middle of the front wall and helps lift the roof. Without it, you should consider having an extra strong beam over the wide garage door.

Consideration:

The roof is supported by the trusses. These only rest on two walls => the gables are not load-bearing (though they can be stabilizing)

But you might not want the gable facing the street, but on the sides of the garage.

Of course you should have two doors. How often do you want to open the WHOLE garage at the same time? That's never happened.

Additionally, you will soon have one half of the garage full of stuff, and those things will fall out every time you open your giant door.

It should be two doors. From 10kSEk per door, you can get a door I believe, but a better price estimate is probably around 20kSEk.
