Hmm, if there's an air gap outside the asfaboard, then it shouldn't be moldy.. in our case, the problem was that there was insulation between the asfaboard and the brick facade.
But Platcon AB tore everything down from the inside and rebuilt it. Naturally, you have to support the roof while tearing it down, and it takes a LONG time - but we did it.

At the bottom, there is no clear air gap (about 10 cm) where it's full of mortar and other debris leftover from the masonry...

It probably doesn't feel as exposed as when it's full of insulation. My asfabord has looked okay so far, but the paper on the insulation lying against the brick is black or completely decayed! However, the asfaboard smells of tar. The new boards don't.

This is how the construction looks from the inside. This is towards the balcony where we built up a base with lecablock and sealed outside to prevent water from running in from the balcony.

Now we're almost done with the first room!
It's a bit of fiddling before you get everything right! The Asfaboard is reasonably easy to put up, it does leave some gaps in places so we have to tape quite a bit! Taking the opportunity to add extra insulation 45 when we have the chance!
