Hello!

I am in the process of restoring a larger bedroom with a walk-in closet, after installing mechanically ventilated subflooring. We had to remove the partition wall (between the sleeping area and the closet), and have now put up a new one. However, I am unsure how to minimize the risk of cracking in the inner corner where the new partition wall meets the outer wall. It's an old wooden house ('79), which moves a bit.

I am considering gluing a joint tape in the angle (on the drywall) with wallpaper paste, and then spackling. Alternatively, I could bevel the drywall slightly and apply a proper soft joint.

I welcome any tips!
Preferably no condescending explanations.

Thanks in advance!
