Hello!
I have a door with the Wayne Dalton brand. Tried to tighten the spring on it but it didn't work, so I called the Garage Door Expert, and they came and tried, and it just spun, so they also concluded that it was broken. And that replacement parts for this door were not available...

What should I do? His recommendation was to buy a new door from them.
Do you have any experience with whether it is possible to replace it with another spring somehow? Or is it just a matter of replacing the door? The door itself is in good condition and works well! Close-up of a Wayne Dalton garage door label with address and notice. The metal frame and part of a brick wall are visible. Close-up of a Wayne Dalton garage door torsion spring assembly, with visible wear, mounted on a wooden ceiling and brick wall background. Wayne Dalton garage door with metal panels, brick walls, and wooden ceiling. Hinges and rails visible; cluttered with tools and storage items. Close-up of Wayne Dalton garage door spring mechanism with cable, mounted on metal track; brick and wood structure in the background.

Never seen that type.
Is the fjädern sitting in the tube??

Yes, exactly!

Gate service in Alingsås manufactures springs for "normal" overhead doors, you can call and ask if this is something they are familiar with.
