Hello everyone,
We are working on a new construction project in an area on the outskirts of Västerås.
The frame and building materials (studs and boards) we have purchased from Mälarvillan, a local house supplier.
The carpenter received the house delivery and completed the exterior of the residential house while we are doing everything inside ourselves. We started by building a guest house/storage in loose timber this summer, where we have been living since August.
Before the house construction, I spent many long evenings reading up on all the steps and gathering information and inspiration from various blogs, among other things. Reading about others' journeys through the house construction was very rewarding, and we therefore want to share our experiences and thoughts.
We have recently set up an Instagram account where our intention is to post the progress of the house construction with the various technical solutions and inspiration when we eventually get to the interior design and more.
The house is a two-story house of about 200 m², which will be equipped with a KNX system, among other things.
