We need to hire craftsmen to convert our family room (upstairs) into a bedroom. The room faces the stairs and currently has a railing/fence towards the stairs.
The wall should be 3.4 meters long and include an interior door. No electrical installations.
What might be a reasonable price for this? The house manufacturer said they charged 12000:- for the wall as an option (too late to choose now) but I think that sounds a lot?

12,000 SEK for the installation of a wall with a door sounds cheap to me. This price is probably based on the work being done during the construction of the house. It might be more expensive now afterward, as railing, moldings, etc., need to be dismantled.
