Diagram illustrating a structural layout with labeled sections: A (chimney), B (masonry wall supporting timber D), C (removable wall), and D (timber).

A: chimney
B: masonry wall that the timber (D) rests on
C: the wall I want to remove.
D: timber

Wall C is connected to wall B with about 1 stone on every 3rd stone "row", it ends under the ceiling (built after the ceiling was put up), what do you think, is it just okay to tear down this wall section, or is it there to support wall B? The wall in question (C) is only 1 stone deep as it appears, while wall B is at least 3 stones deep.

Grateful for thoughts and answers, hope you understand my excellent paint description;)

Tear down! I wouldn't hesitate
