Need help! About Bogwood!

We cleaned out one of our sheds yesterday and found 5 large bog oak logs and 4 smaller ones. Can they be used for anything? Or should we just send them to the dump??

I would try to sell them on Blocket first. Aren't there people who build things out of those? Feels like a shame to throw away such wood.

Considering that svartek fetches prices of 30-40,000kr/m3, you could try selling it.

Knife craftsmen, jewelry carvers, and some furniture makers are very fond of such.

Small thread lift..

I have a few small pieces of svartek lying around.

How do you achieve the best possible finish (so that the material is showcased to its fullest potential) on the surface if one were to decide to make some decorative items or similar?
