Hello

I will begin framing a stud wall for an extension I will start on Thursday. To assist me, I have a compressor and a nice Scenco framing nailer. My dilemma is that the nailer only takes 90mm nails. As far as I know, 2/3 of the nail should go into the material I'm attaching to. That is, the nail should be at least 135mm if I'm shooting through a 45 stud. What do people do? Reinforce by manually nailing extra 5´ nails or?

90mm nailed with a gun works fine. :)

Most nail guns shoot only 90 (even though mine takes 100), so it is completely normal. With a nail gun, it automatically results in significantly more nails than when you use a hammer....
