...Have drifted apart. Who can help them towards a meaningful and peaceful togetherness?

Actually, "who" is known but not "how." The question is therefore: What is the least bad way to join given these conditions with insufficient vertical height?

  • Disconnected drainage pipes under a red-tiled roof. Looking for the best reconnection method given limited vertical space.
Releasing the gutter is the only option. But are you going to lead it sideways? Otherwise, it works as it is.

Releasing is no problem, but then what? There is no standard part that fits to put it all together.

I know it works as it is, but there is a lot of water that needs to be drained here. I'd rather divert it properly.

Thanks for the reply!

The only thing might be to cut a u in the pipe and insert it at the outlet, then I would fold up an edge on the other side, possibly cut the outlet a bit as well.

It might be better to use sewage pipes here, joints in roof drainage pipes are not tight, they require a steep slope.

Good suggestion! If I'm going to start cutting, maybe the best is a cut bend that is mounted on the downpipe. Then a number of slots on the cap so you can press it together and guide it into the pipe?
