Hi! I'm putting up a mirror on a drywall, but one of the holes ended up a bit off.
I'm wondering what the minimum distance between the holes must be if I were to move the holes, meaning drilling new ones.

The mirror weighs about 10 kg.
If you are using plugs, 2cm should be enough, depending on what's behind the drywall.

But a couple of cm should be enough

Thanks! That sounds reasonable!

Two cm worked perfectly, now the mirror is nicely in place.

Did you put a plug in the old hole as well? It further stabilizes, you see.

I filled the old holes, would it have been better if I left plugs instead?

A bit, but since you've filled, it's good enough. It's often best to insert something into the hole and then fill the surface if something is to be screwed next to it.
