I'm about to buy a plot, oddly placed is an old mission house. I plan to use the framework on a new slab that I will cast in the spring. Will I get the building as a new production and thus avoid property tax for the next 5 years? When I apply for a building permit, it is for new production. Can the tax authority object when I use the old framework? Building permits are also sought for new activity, church to permanent residence. Does anyone have experience with similar cases? If you're applying for a building permit for new construction, it's these details that the city planning office forwards to the tax authority. How would the tax authority find out that you're reusing the old framework? ;)
 
What I reacted to is when the house has burned down. Rebuilding it is considered a new construction, with associated paperwork. It might be profitable then, to "light it up" every ten years, in order to lower the property tax ;)

;D Maybe it's easier to limit the ceiling height to 189 cm in all rooms, surely you could avoid property tax that way too?

Is the Builder sure about their opinion regarding new construction if there are already houses on the plot.

Does the Builder mean that if I demolish the old house and build a new one on the plot, it is not considered new production?

Yes, if you first demolish the old one? Then there is no house on the plot. :-/

After a day of counting, I'm starting to think about tearing down and running the mission house through a wood chipper. Does anyone want to sell a wood chipper?
