I'm going to put curtain rods on plasterboards. Has anyone tried plasterboard anchors or have other suggestions?

for lighter mountings, those work, but curtain rods are assumed to have curtains on them, and it's easy for a child to pull on these, then that might be a bit insufficient. Personally, I would probably go with metal expanders.

It can handle 25 kg and drywall, but now we don't know what your walls are made of. In some prefabricated houses, there is a metal sheet behind the drywall approximately where curtain rods are usually mounted, and behind that is wood, so check first if you have such walls.
