How deep should I drill and what diameter should I use? The conditions are as follows. I need to attach a pool ladder. The pool is built in leca with 50mm concrete slabs all the way to the pool edge. Viewed from above, it's a 50mm concrete slab, mortar joint, and 190mm leca block. I have 1m of stainless threaded rod M8 that I plan to use for four attachment points (thus 25cm each). I also have four "chemical anchors" in the form of glass capsules with various compounds in them. Unfortunately, I no longer have the packaging, so I don't have instructions on how to use them. The capsules are marked fischer RM 8, so I assume it involves Kartro. Should I drill exactly as deep as the threaded rod will go, or should there be a little extra depth? Should I use the same hole diameter as the rod and capsules, or should there be extra width there? Tips on this or a link to some instructions would be appreciated.

Drill 10mm to the depth you want the threaded rod to protrude, insert the capsule, drive in the threaded rod, twist and move it up and down a few times.
