Mount bracket for pressure expansion on drywall?
I have a 40l pressure expansion tank that needs to be mounted on the wall in the boiler room. Is it possible to attach the bracket directly to the plaster (double plaster) without it breaking? It will probably weigh a little over 40kg.

It should work with the right plug.
I would have taken a piece of plywood or OSB, 620*300mm, painted white (or in the correct wall color) and screwed it into the studs. Then mounted the vessel with regular screws onto the board.
A more secure installation that can definitely handle people stumbling or yanking on the vessel or similar Murphy scenario
