Hello,

Tomorrow we will receive a delivery of aerated concrete for our garage construction. The stone supplier (AEROC) states in their instructions that the bottom layer should be mortared to the slab with mortar M 10 (the other layers with thin joint mortar that they provide). Now it seems that mortar M 10 is only available by the full pallet... I've received a suggestion that cement mortar A can be used instead. What do you think, can I do that?

Thank you in advance
Stenper

It's the same thing, just different names (A=M10 B=M2.5 etc) For some reason, the industry decided on a new standard regarding the designation of hardness class for masonry and plaster mortar...
