I'm planning a kitchen renovation and I want to create a corner solution for the stove. I was thinking of building a slanted wall in one of the outer wall corners to have something to mount the fan on. Then I remembered reading something about it not being good to place, for example, large furniture against an outer wall due to the risk of moisture and mold. This would be roughly the same thing, that is, moist indoor air will be "trapped" in the space that forms behind the slanted wall in the corner, and it will probably be slightly colder compared to the rest of the house. On the other hand, it's common to place kitchen cabinets against outer walls, so I'm not quite sure what to believe.
What do you think, is this something to worry about?
Would it be enough to install ventilation grilles at the top and bottom to allow the air to circulate a bit?
I can add that I have mechanical exhaust in the house, so ventilation is good otherwise.
