Hi, I am going to seal off a door and I have some plasterboards in my garage that have gotten a bit damp, so they've developed mold on them. Can I still use the plasterboards? I have washed off the mold but you can see where it has been. Can I still use them or do I have to throw them away?
It's easier for everyone if only one thread is started about the "same" question....

Personally, I wouldn't build with damaged material in any form! On the other hand, in a new clean/dry environment, the mold won't continue to develop so I guess the conscience will have to decide....

okay I have "quite a bad conscience" because I really don't want to build in "mögel" if it can start growing there..
I'll probably have to remove those boards I screwed on & buy new ones... sigh...
but it'll probably feel best afterward.
thanks for the answer
