Mold Growth in Cold Attic - To Ventilate or Not?
I have a cold attic that was additionally insulated by the previous owner. Tiles, roof, and underlay felt are new.
Over the past year, there has been some growth, especially on the rear sections (red in the picture). Black mold and white mold.
It's ventilated at the eaves in all sections except the front 2, and there's a ventilation hole 1m up from the joist according to the picture.
I'm considering mold stoppers? Or sealing the ventilation hole?
Feels a bit overkill with 40,000:- and a desiccant dehumidifier?

Have treated with green-free etc. The mold comes back, I believe it is a result of the damp winters we have nowadays. Not much to do, heating an attic for nothing is not economical.
