Hello,
I have had a hole in the knutbrädan about 2m up, so water has leaked in and followed the studs down to the sill. I was planning today to replace the studs, sill, insulation, drywall, and asfaboard. I then discovered that some of the wood is very difficult to replace. I'm considering replacing as much as possible and trying to dry the rest. Can I do that or does everything need to be removed? What can happen? (I don't know how long it has been wet) Damaged wooden wall structure with insulation exposed, showing water damage and mold. Red panel and roof section visible, image needs 90-degree rotation.
Not a very clear picture, the water has come in at the triangular molding where the roof meets the wall
(the picture needs to be rotated 90 degrees)
