Moisture barrier basement stairs

I have just moved into my new house and am in the process of renovating the wooden basement stairs that stand on a tiled floor. During the inspection, there was a complaint that the stairs stood on the basement floor and lacked a moisture barrier. What moisture barrier is suitable to use?

I guess I'll get a roll of syllpapp, even though I only need a small piece. It's not particularly expensive. I just remembered that I have a roll of bitumen soundproofing that I used in the car. That should work.
