Hello!
We are new owners of a Mockfjärds elementhus, which will undergo some renovation. We would like to tear down the wall between the kitchen and the living room/dining area, but unfortunately, we don't have any construction drawings of the house layout, and hence don't know which walls are load-bearing. Is there anyone who has experience with similar houses and knows how to find out if the wall is load-bearing?

Your municipality should have blueprints that you can request. My municipality has a smooth web service for that.
I myself live in a prefabricated house of a different type and the difference in the thickness of load-bearing walls is visible on the blueprint. The wall you want to take down looks thin and is probably simple plasterboard and 45stud and in that case, not load-bearing. Measure a bit and make a hole with a hole saw to get the answer.

How did it go? We have recently bought an element house from 1976 and would like to get in touch with people who have dealt with them before. We have found some amusing things such as heating pipes embedded behind slanted floor molding. We want to do the same as you and remove a wall between the living room and kitchen, somewhat unclear whether it is load-bearing or not, hope to see some drawings soon.

Hello!
We enlisted the help of a local construction company and they determined that the wall was not load-bearing. It's now gone, and so far it has gone well :) We also have radiator pipes that run behind a kind of steel trim, which isn't super nice. We are considering rebuilding these trims into wooden trims, but we haven't had time for that yet. Right now, all our energy is going into plastering the walls! Good luck!

From what year is your house?

Our house is from 1963!

Ok thanks, it should be similar to ours then. Also considering tearing down a wall. Such a strange construction that I almost thought all the walls were load-bearing in some way. Did the construction company say that all the thin walls on the drawing were non-load-bearing?

Unfortunately, we only have a drawing of our basement with thin and thick walls, where it shows which walls are load-bearing. I don't know exactly how the company determined whether this particular wall was load-bearing. I know several neighbors who have removed the equivalent wall.

How has it gone for you? Do you need any form of tips and advice?

We are only in the planning stage yet. Right now we need to fix a floor that is starting to sink.
