After searching the forum and skimming through a bunch of threads without getting wiser, I'm now creating a thread on how to best miter saw moldings with this machine.

I've tried everything with tape, fine side up/down. Scratched the molding, etc. Buying a new fine-toothed blade is too expensive since the ones I've found cost 450kr+

I am currently sawing pre-painted baroque door trim and the overwhelmingly best method is to have the fine side of the molding facing up. The piece you are going to use should be to the left where the laser beam points and leaves the wood on the left. Then slowly lower the blade until it has gone through the entire molding. The result is as good as it can get.

That looks perfectly fine, doesn't it? Or what is the problem?

Yes, in the end, it turned out well when I used the aforementioned method. Before that, it never really turned out well :)
