Unpainted moldings

Where can you find unpainted moldings (ceiling and floor) that aren't completely smooth? Everything I find is almost pre-painted in hardware stores. Is my googlefu that bad, or is it only carpentry shops "on the other side of the country" that are the option nowadays?

I installed pre-painted ones in one of my son's rooms, but they don't give the same feeling as "site-painted" ones.

I put up finished painted ones in one son's room, but they don't give the same feeling as you get from "site-painted".

Both Bauhaus and Hedin bygg I've seen unpainted profile mouldings... but you can paint on the finished ones too: Sand them lightly and go, I would say.
