We have decided to use microcement in the new spa area, and I have tried to find information on how to achieve a nice surface, but haven't found much useful information...
I want a "solid" even coloring without marbling, which I understand occurs during sanding.
I've done quite a bit of plastering and consider myself fairly good at it, so the plan is to do the job myself.
Does anyone have tips and advice along the way?

Thanks, I had already figured that out myself...MrJay said:
Youtube doesn't seem to have any video I can find that goes through surface treatment, like which steps make it more or less blotchy...
I've talked to a couple of suppliers and they seem to give different, and vague, instructions about using more or less water in the mix or different types of sandpaper.
They seem reluctant to give instructions, but I don’t want to order anything until I know I'll get an even nice color...
So if we turn the question around, does anyone know a reasonable supplier who knows what they're talking about?
The little experience I have is that there are some variations depending on how it is applied (Festfloor in my case). My impression is that the less filling, the more even it becomes, and the less sanding, the more even it becomes. To minimize the above, it is important that the substrate is even.
To achieve a completely homogeneous surface like self-leveling compound/industrial floor, I have no idea how one would go about it.
