Hello. I'm thinking of installing a metal roof against the garage wall and about 2 meters out along the entire gable. Does anyone know what dimensions should be used? The roof will be 6 meters wide. I plan to use 3 posts and a main beam of pressure-treated 195, (145?) in between. Then, can I use 145 joists from the wall to the main beam at cc 120, or can I use 120 joists? On top, there will be some form of battens, like 45*45. I'm a little unsure about the dimensions. Any tips? It will be used as a wood shed.

is there no carpenter here who has any tips on what dimensions I need?

I am not a carpenter but it sounds very stable (overdimensioned?) you can probably manage with smaller beams.

what I am most wondering about is what size of läkt I should have
