Should the footplate not be spliced?
I don't think it is done professionally.

  • Close-up of a roof edge with a joint in the flashing, marked with red and yellow lines, highlighting poor craftsmanship concerns.
Normally, you would place it with overlap..
Is there another metal strip connecting from the left?

I think it is wrong..
But check the assembly instructions
In my world, it's also the wrong base plate... the roof sheet should hook around the base plate..

Is it standing seam roofing that the tinsmith produces or is it flat sheet metal from, for example, Planja Trend or similar?

Svea Stark is called a metal roof.

Svea Stark is the name for metal roofing.
So it's vesivek that did this, I'm not surprised.
Just call them and ask them to redo it.
Withhold payment.

Yes, it looks that way, but the eave flashing does not match the roofs I have seen.

I don't know if the foot plate is of the right type.
This is what I've received.
I just talked to an experienced sheet metal worker who says that the foot plate should be beveled so the sheets fit together, not sloppily laid on top of each other.

I've just spoken with an experienced roofer who says that the base plate should be beveled so the plates merge together, not carelessly placed on top of each other.
What type of roof is it? Manufacturer?

The roof is called Svea Stark click falls.

Agree, it should be a different type of base plate that the roof sheet can hook around

The one I'm thinking of is this:

  • Image of a black footplate, Plannja Modern/Trend TYP, used in construction, shown with specifications and diagrams for installation.
