Mending plate fast in Swedish

Hello,

In the USA, there is something called a Mending plate or Connector plate. A metal plate with punched tags that can be used to, for example, hold two pieces of wood together. Is there something similar in Sweden and if so, what are they called?

Or perhaps nail plate is the correct term.
